Intent
The intent of this success criterion is to get developers to stop complaining. Everyone has a right to use the web. Grow up and do your god-damned job!
Benefits
Developers who benefit from meeting this criteria will only experience postives, such as:
- Doing the right thing.
- Making shit work for everyone.
- Getting it done right the first frickin' time.
- Ensuring development managers don't have to hear your bullshit.
- Acting like a god-damned professional.
Meeting this Success Criterion helps your clients because:
- The stuff they paid you to do will work for everyone ... which is what they paid you to do!
- They won't get their ass sued.
- They won't have to sue your ass.
Examples
- When a designer is told that the colour contrast on a button needs to be altered so visually impaired people can read it, they won't whine and say "Changing it will hurt the emotional impact I want people to have when they buy avacado toast from our site!"
- When a developer is told that they have to ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible, they stop whining, put on their big person pants, and just make it work with a keyboard, dammit!
- When a QA professional receives work to test, they actually open up a frickin' screen reader and use a keyboard to test if it bloody well works without a mouse.
- Project Managers actually add accessibility into scope and give a reasonable amount of time to do it. (Novel idea, right?)

Notes
- This is not a real W3C Draft. We apologize if you were deceived and/or disappointed.
- You should still make your shit accessible, kids.
- We apologize for the profanities ... but DAMN we get so frustrated sometimes.
